Welcome

I’m so glad you’re here! I’m really trying to create a space where I can talk about my favorite books and book related topics that my friends don’t want to hear me rant about for the hundredth time. If you read something here and you don’t have the same opinion or you came to different conclusion about something, that is ok! Your thoughts and feelings are valid! One of my favorite things about books are the discussions with people who have come to different conclusions than I have!

You’ve probably already seen the section Outside The Nook. This is just a space I created where I can share things that aren’t book related if I feel the need to. You might find tips for coping with ADHD, random lists, a recipe, and probably at least one rant on how much I love my dog and also Taylor Swift. Feel free to drop a comment on either of the main blog pages or follow me on my socials and my StoryGraph account (links are at the bottom of this page) and leave a message!

You’ll find book recommendations in The Nooks Books. I’ve organized them into genres that they seem to fit into according to me. You might find something you consider fantasy in the paranormal section or vice versa. If you’re looking for something specific try the search bar in the top left corner under The Nooks Books. I HATE spoilers so rest assured that you won’t find them in this section, you will however find content warnings at the top of every recommendation! I cross check all content warnings with StoryGraph to try to make sure it’s as complete as possible!

#SPEAKUPSMP has three demands:

  • Address and denounce the Islamophobia/racism from their employee.

  • Offer tangible steps for how they're going to mitigate the harm this employee caused.

  • Address how, moving forward, they will support and protect their Palestinian, Muslim, and Arab readers, influencers, and authors in addition to their BIPOC readers, influencers, and authors.

Due to the St. Martin’s Press boycott you will currently not find any of the associated authors or books referenced here.
